Peter currently holds the position of Impact Investment Manager after joining the organisation in 2018. In this capacity, his area of focus and expertise is the overlap between smallholder agriculture and the delivery of ecosystem services, including through climate mitigation and enhanced biodiversity. In addition to his environmental focus, Peter has extensive expertise in outcomes-based financing mechanisms and has been leading the CFC investments in several innovative projects, amongst others, in Development Impacts Bonds (DIBs). Before joining the CFC, Peter served as a consultant at Greenland Perspective, a joint research programme between the University of Copenhagen and the University of Greenland. There he supported the research for alternatives to mining industries for economic development in Greenland, including ecotourism and the export of inputs for tropical agriculture. He has also assisted econometric research in cocoa prices and labour market outcomes.
